The dates and causes of death for all CDCR residents from January 1, 2013 to the present.

Stable anonymized signed integer ID value for the resident

DeathDate

The date of death.

Institution

The CDCR institution that had custody of the resident when they died. This does not preclude the possibility that the resident was outside of the institution, e.g., in a community hospital, at the time of their death.

Category

The primary cause of death, based on death review.
